CIRCA
The UP Circle of Administrators is a duly recognized NCPAG-based, socio-civic organization. It was founded on February 24, 1992 by Rey Millian, Edward Antiojo, Raul Chan, Alexis Cordero, Emil Estrada and Sheila Bautista.
For 18 years, the UP Circle of Administrators has been continually striving to uphold the principles of academic excellence, social commitment, solidarity and human resource development.
True enough, the UP CIRCA has produced individuals who not only proved themselves academically, but also young student leaders who have the heart and passion for genuine public service. The organization is the home of numerous magna cum laude and cum laude graduates of the college as well as student council leaders that were molded by this organization.
The UP CIRCA handled various activities that raised its name above others. Last academic year, activities like FOPC block handling, Alternative Classroom Learning Experience (ACLE), CIRCA's Republika ng Peyupinas Forum, Hypergraphia 4: Youth, Media and Government – Roles and Prospects in the 2010 Elections, Donate-A-Toy, Team-Building Activity, Film Showing and GK Mega Build became a venue for the UP CIRCA members to provide service not just to the studentry but to the community as well. The organization also recently tied up with the University Student Council, the NCPAG Student Council and the Center for Leadership, Citizenship and Democracy to bring the NCPAG community Election 2010: Handa Na Ba Sa Automation? - the first forum on automation election of its kind in the University. This only goes to show that the organization is not just strong in numbers but also in the quality of service it provides.
For 18 years in a row, UP CIRCA has shown its passion shaped to perfection in extending its endeavors for the realization of good governance. And for this year, UP CIRCA moves to greater heights along with its 18th year founding anniversary as we plan to provide innovative and indisputable service to the people.
