Diploma in Public Management (Dip PM)

The Dip PM program is for professional and technical personnel interested in acquiring skills and learning techniques in public management suited to their fields of specialization.

The Dip PM requires the completion of two general courses in public administration and five courses in the chosen field of specialization. The fields are organization studies, public fiscal administration, public policy and program administration, local government and regional administration, public enterprise management, spatial information management and voluntary sector management.

The Dip PM is awarded upon completion of 21 units of prescribed courses and upon obtaining a weighted average of “1.75” in all courses taken.

Admission Policy

  1. Holder of a Bachelor's degree may apply. He/She must take and pass the written examination and have at least one year work experience.

  2. Submit the following documents to the CPAGE office:

    • Duly-accomplished application form
    • Letter of application
    • Transcript of records (original and photocopy)
    • One (2”x2”) photo
    • Copy of birth certificate (NSO original and photo copy)
    • Copy of marriage contract (NSO original and photo copy)
    • Two recommendations for admission duly filled out by competent individuals who are in the best position to assess applicant's potential for graduate work
    • TOEFL (for foreign applicants only)
    • Service record/Employment Record

  3. Pay the application fee – P500.00 for local; $20.00 for foreign

 


Deadline for filing Application for Admission

First Semester: April 15

Second Semester: August 31

 

Schedule of Entrance Examination

First Semester: Third Saturday of April

Second Semester: First Saturday of September
