Strengthening the Integrity of the Judiciary

With funding support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), ROLE with CPED and the Centre for Human Resource Strategies Asia, Inc. as proponents, implemented a Judicial Reform Activity. The Activity focuses on a comprehensive diagnostic to address the perceived declining public confidence on the judiciary. By systematically identifying areas and practices that are vulnerable to corruption, the Supreme Court of the Philippines will have adequate basis for approaching the problems. This activity will contribute to ROLE's goal of reducing corruption opportunities. It seeks to support the efforts in reducing corruption in the judiciary by providing the tools for diagnosing the problem and installing effective corruption reform measures.

This activity was implemented from September 2007 – January 2008.
